Not surprisingly, this category is extensive due to the pressures of the developing technologies involved.
I have taken the liberty of just focusing on the updates to source documents in this blog to keep the list of revised documents at a manageable length. So BSI and EN adoptions are not included. FYI: Technical Corrigendums are change notices, with "pen-and-ink" updates.
These Information Technology standards are normally developed by the Joint Technical Committee 1 (JTC1). Various subcommittees handle more specific topics. For example, Subcommittee 27 is charged with developing standards on IT security techniques.
