ASTM International (formerly the American Society of Testing and Materials) has developed many material standards that are used the world over.  One handy way to purchase these standards is by getting one or more of the various volumes that comprise the consolidated set.

For the Stainless Steel Standards, you can purchase the ASTM Volume 01.03 Paper (book format) or the ASTM Volume 01.03 CD Rom.  It is a snap-shot of the ASTM standards on the topic.  When you do purchase standards in bulk like this (in a compilation), there is only one drawback -- You will not get notified when individual standards are updated.  However, if you use many ASTM standards on a topic, it's an easy way to develop your standards collection.

Document Center will help you develop and maintain your standards library.  Make us your Standards Experts!
