Back in the day when I took over Document Center in the 1980's, we did a lot of business with companies in the aerospace industry.  Silicon Valley helped pioneer the computer side of space exploration, led by the folks at NASA Ames.  We sold many NASA standards during that time like standards on ceramics (for the tiles on the exterior of the space shuttle) and even o-rings.

Now-a-days, the space business is international in scope, with standardization supporting space exploration by both governments and the private sector.  The emphasis on the use of NASA standards has been replaced slowly but surely by the use of standards from organizations with participation from around the globe.

Please let us know if we can be of assistance to you in finding the standards you need for the business you're in!  Document Center Inc. - your Standards Experts.
