Of course, here in California the summer means that our roadways are going to be under construction while the weather is good. This is true particularly in the Sierras, where the winter weather not only precludes road repair, but puts a heavy strain on our highway system as cars chain up during our many snowstorms.
Using materials that provide safe and strong road ways is essential considering the heavy traffic our highway system is subjected to.
